Aron Hemingway

Aron Hemingway is a multi-disciplinary designer / maker working in Hobart, Tasmania. Coming from an art background, Hemingway has a BFA - Drawing from VCA, then moved into design and has a Bachelor of Design, Interior Design with Honours from RMIT. He now runs the design studio Hemingway Projects. Following on from his RMIT thesis project Slow McGyvering, design-through-making plays a central role in his practice, as does the sharing of information through collaboration, teaching and close working relationship with clients.

After years of art fabrication and installation work, the collaboration with Stevie S. Han in Departure Projects marks a shift back into the world of self-driven visual art making.
