Austin is a soulful singer-songwriter and pianist who relocated from Somerset to Hobart in 2016 to pursue her dream of becoming a professional musician. She spent the year of 2019 studying the music of Amy Winehouse and graduated with a Bachelor of Music, First Class Honours. Austin's lyrics come from the perspective of a 20-something-year-old navigating life and relationships during these strange times we live in; she writes from her soul about anything from loneliness and love to existentialism. Austin's piano driven sound draws inspiration from the likes of Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse and Carole King.
