Evan Loxton

Evan Loxton is a French/Australian multidisciplinary Artist raised in rural NSW with a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Victorian College of the Arts (Naarm).

Encompassing 3D Motion Graphics, Costumes and Performance, their work primarily aims to create a path from the present state to other realities, incorporating critical theory influences as well as queer and feminist perspectives. For the last three years, they have resided in Berlin where they undertook the three-month contemporary performance program, ROAR, and have since collaborated with multiple artists through costume making and performing, and have continued their 3D practice independently and in commission.

The Unconformity acknowledges the palawa people as the original and traditional custodians of lutruwita / Tasmania. We commit to working respectfully to honour their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this land.
