Jethro Pickett

Tasmanian songwriter and music producer, Jethro Pickett is revered for his intuitive guitar playing and freak folk-esque songs which he has crafted from a life of playing music around the globe. His album FRANCE was nominated for the Australian Music Prize 2018. He has worked with Christopher Coleman, EWAH and The Vision of Paradise, Shane O’Mara, Ern Malley, Tomorrows (IRE) and performed at venues including The Theatre Royal, Mona, Berlin Sessions, Electric Picnic Festival and The Lock (UK).

His second album was released by Phill Calvert’s (The Birthday Party) Behind the Beat Records and he toured Australia and Europe before returning to Tasmania where he now lives and runs a recording studio. Jethro is currently working on a third solo album.
