Dr Keith Corbett is a Tasmanian-born geologist who has been lucky enough to spend most of his life working in the mountains of lutruwita/Tasmania. This has included a PhD study of the Denison Range in the South-West, and a Masters study of the Mt Lyell Mine area. He has been able to climb and explore the nooks and crannies of all the West Coast Range mountains. He actually knows some geological stuff about unconformities! His particular pleasures since retiring include showing people interesting geological places, and working with others to develop walking tracks around Queenstown. He has recently published a definitive book on Tasmanian geology for laypeople, Child of Gondwana: The Geological Making of Tasmania.
